If you’re looking for something fun, educational, and full of delicious food to do this summer, look no further than the many ethnic festivals in Pennsylvania. Celebrating a wide range of cultures and traditions, these festivals reflect the diversity of our great state.
Three festivals are going on just this weekend, so you have to decide fast! The Mother of Divine Grace Italian Festival in Philadelphia, the Erie Pangryi Greek Festival in Erie, and the PDCD Italian StrEAT festival will all take place from July 8th to the 9th or 10th.
The weekend after that, the Berks Celtic Festival, day-long festival featuring live entertainment and authentic food, is coming up in Sinking Spring. Then check out the Himalayan Festival in Harrisburg, where you can watch Himalayan artists and musicians compete in a variety of contests from beauty pageants to film competitions.
The Hanover Dutch Festival will take place on July 29 and feature more than 300 vendors. A few festivals will take place in September too, like the Cambria City Ethnic Festival for East European culture, the Pittsburgh Lebanese Festival, and the Celtic Classic Highland Games & Festival.
