It happens to all of us: we forget where we parked our car, or we forget to text our family member that we arrived at where we said we were going. Luckily, Chevy has a solution for us, as the automaker has just added a convenient new Vehicle Locate feature to its myChevy smartphone app.
The Vehicle Locate feature has two main functions: Firstly, it stores your vehicle’s location when parking, making it so you’re always able to find your vehicle quickly in crowded lots. Secondly, it allows you to set boundary areas. Once you set a boundary area, you can select which family members and friends you’d like the app to automatically send text alerts to, letting them know that you have arrived at or departed from a particular location. For instance, you can set your workplace as a boundary area and automatically let your special someone know when you leave work and are on your way home. Alternatively, you can set your teen driver’s school as a boundary area, making it so you get an automatic alert when they arrive at school.
With the new feature, everyday travel alerts between family members are made effortless, giving you peace of mind that your loved ones have arrived safely at their destinations. Contact us at H&H Chevrolet if you need help with myChevy app’s new Vehicle Locate function or any of its other functions.
