Chevrolet Marketplace Technology: Order a Domino’s Pizza from Behind the Wheel

Chevrolet Dashboard App

Ordering a pizza has never been easier thanks to Chevrolet Marketplace technology. Marketplace is a free service offered through connected GM models, which allows you to access services and special deals while you’re on the go. The latest company to team up with Chevy on the Marketplace platform is Domino’s Pizza.

Press Of A Button

According to Chevrolet, the new Marketplace feature allows drivers to order either a saved option or their most recent order with the press of a button. With pre-set preferences, the Marketplace system allows you to pick up a pizza in-store or to have it delivered to your home. That means you could have a hot pizza ready to go by the time you get home from a long day of work.

Commitment To Customers

“We admire Chevy’s commitment to providing the technology that consumers want the most,” said Chris Roeser, director of digital experience at Domino’s. “Now, Marketplace will provide pizza lovers an easy way to order the pizza they love.”

Other Features

The Domino’s pizza ordering feature is just the latest in a string of convenient connectivity features. For instance, you can also access an in-dash fuel payment system through Marketplace, which lets you apply fuel-savings programs at select gas pumps when you fill-up.

Get In-Car Delivery from Amazon and OnStar®

2019 Chevrolet Spark

If you have ever had a problem with an Amazon package getting stolen off of your front porch, Chevrolet has a new solution. There is now in-car delivery from Amazon available at no extra cost for model year 2015 and newer Chevrolet owners with active Onstar® and Amazon Prime accounts.

The Service

“Partnering with Amazon to leverage our embedded in-vehicle connectivity gives Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac owners the option to conveniently receive deliveries inside their vehicle parked at home, work or near other locations in their Amazon address book,” said Alan Batey, President, General Motors North America.

How To Utilize

To utilize Amazon Key In-Car Delivery, you will need to download the Amazon Key app. Then, you will need to opt in to the service and link your Amazon and OnStar accounts. You can then register your preferred delivery locations. When you are shopping on Amazon, you would select the “In-Car” delivery option and select your desired location.

Your Updates and Security

When the delivery is on its way, you will receive a notification through the Amazon Key app. Then, you will get a second notification when the delivery is completed and your vehicle has been locked. Deliveries have to be made to cars parked in publicly accessible areas, like a parking lot or street.

If your Chevy isn’t new enough for in-car delivery, contact us at H&H Chevrolet for more information on our inventory.
