Chevy’s Road Trip Coming To You
Have you dreamed of seeing the entire country by car? Now’s your chance with Chevy’s road trip, designed in conjunction with data scientist Randy Olson. The trip takes you through all 48 contiguous United States (you’ll have to get to Alaska and Hawaii some other time) with an exciting stop in each state, including theme parks, national parks, and famous landmarks.
All Across America
The trip covers 13,389 miles of American roadways and would take roughly 214.56 hours—that’s nine days—of pure driving. But since you will probably want to stop to eat, sleep, and use the rest room (and fill up at the gas station and get some oil changes), the trip will likely take you much longer. In fact, with each of the 48 planned stops and your own detours to see family, friends, and travel destinations you’ve always dreamed of, you should probably plan for at least a month on the road.
Shared Memories With The Family
“Road trips are about creating shared memories and quality time with family and friends,” remarked Steve Majoros, director of marketing, Chevrolet Cars and Crossovers. “And when on the road, travelers can trust Chevrolet vehicles to help get them where they’re going reliably. Chevy is now the only brand to earn J.D. Power Dependability Awards for cars, trucks and SUVs three years in a row.”
Whether you plan to tackle all of Chevy’s road trip or just a portion near us in Pennsylvania, make sure to get your routine maintenance done first at H&H Chevrolet in Shippensburg, PA.
Kelley Blue Book is one of the most well-respected organizations in the world when it comes to cars. The company has long provided reliable reviews for vehicles in addition to the industry standard in value. KBB’s Resale Value Awards rank and recognize vehicles based on how well they hold their resale value, and the 2018 awards put Chevrolet’s lineup of capable and reliable trucks at the top of the list.
Both the Chevrolet Silverado HD and the Chevrolet Tahoe won the 2018 Best Resale Value Awards in their respective categories – Full-Size Pickup Truck and Full-Size SUV/Crossover. Meanwhile, the 2018 Colorado and Silverado 1500 ranked highly on the KBB.com Top 10 Best Resale Value List.
In January, Chevrolet debuted the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, kicking off a brand-new generation for the reputable nameplate and celebrating 100 years of excellence in the auto industry.
All Chevrolet trucks are crafted with a century’s worth of engineering and design expertise. Durability is prioritized during the design process, which is why Chevy truck models are still crafted using fully boxed frames and high-strength steel. This commitment to reliability earned Chevrolet’s trucks top spots in the 2018 Kelley Blue Book Resale Value Awards.

This Valentine’s Day, show everyone how much you care by making DIY, one-of-a-kind Valentine’s Day cards that will warm your loved ones’ hearts. In particular, spend some extra time crafting the perfect card for that one special someone—they will surely be touched by your thoughtfulness. Here are some ideas for handmade, DIY Valentine’s Day cards from us at H&H Chevy.
Be Creative with Materials
Everyone knows that hearts are the go-to decoration for Valentine’s Days, so try to be a little more creative with what you use to make your cards. Use Scrabble tiles, Bingo boards, lace, or some of your favorite pictures. By all means, include some hearts and Cupid arrows as well. In addition, I’m sure no one would mind if you incorporated chocolate or something equally scrumptious in your DIY card.
Be Thoughtful with Design
If you’re spending the time to make DIY Valentine’s Day Cards, keep in mind the card recipient’s favorite things. If they like glam, use glitter and jewels. If they’re the outdoorsy type, draw lovebirds or use some beautiful pressed flowers. If they enjoy literature and poetry, use those scrabble tiles or find some poems that express how you feel—or write your own!
We’re nearly ready to ring in the New Year which means it’s time to decide what your goal is for 2018. Here are a few tips from us here at H&H Chevrolet to help you keep your 2018 New Year resolutions.
The first step in achieving your 2018 New Year resolution is to be realistic when deciding what you want to strive for. For example, deciding to visit all seven continents with limited funds and time isn’t a realistic goal and is one most people will fail. Choosing something realistic, like kicking a bad habit, increases your odds of success.
In order to achieve you’re goal, you’ll want to start small. If you want to stop smoking, start by cutting down on your number of daily cigarettes, then stop smoking for one day out of the week, and increase it from there. Changing slowly is the best way to ensure that you’ll achieve your goal by the year’s end.
Don’t Fret Failure
Failure is a part of life, and it’s only natural to mess up a few times. Messing up on your diet or failing to keep to your routine doesn’t mean you should stop entirely. Pick up where you left off and keep striving to tackle your resolution!
